Arlington, Texas — Allpart Supply (Allpart) recently conducted training on Haweka’s AXIS4000, the Anywhere, Anytime HD Alignment System™ at Allpart headquarters in Arlington, Texas.
The training class was held over a three-day period and was well-attended by companies from across the US. Distributors representing companies affiliated with Heavy Duty (HD) equipment and service throughout the Southeast, Mid-Atlantic, Northeast, and South Texas flew to Arlington for the class, along with local end users from Dallas/Fort Worth and an OEM consultant and trainer. Allpart Sales Staff and Haweka HQ staff from Germany led the training and were available to answer questions.
As Haweka’s exclusive North American distributor, Allpart conducted the training to educate its customer base and interested parties about the current HD alignment marketplace and AXIS4000’s place in it.
The trainers provided classroom training that covered not only the AXIS4000 features and benefits but details about how simple it is to set up and use the system and run a complete HD alignment check. From the Windows-based software to the easy menu navigation, recording of readings and data, and printout/overview, the AXIS4000 system walked its users through the alignment process quickly and clearly. Trainers also discussed additional system components like trailer alignment, framework measurement, and adaptive cruise control.
Trainers then moved to the hands-on portion of the AXIS4000 training session, which was conducted in Allpart Supply’s TIA Training Center, located on-site. In the TIA Training Center, participants both observed and practiced the concepts they had learned about in the classroom, which included AXIS4000 system maintenance and calibration and AXIS4000 use and repetitive practice. Participants practiced on an HD three axle vehicle and two-axle medium duty truck to ensure that they could align those, as well, using AXIS4000’s unique turning plates.
One of the biggest takeaways for participants, said Jon Barganier, Allpart Supply VP, was the AXIS4000’s versatility: “We’ve seen a huge demand for AXIS’s ‘anywhere, anytime’ capability. You can set it up on an uneven gravel parking lot or a greasy shop floor, and it will work. The results are repeatable, reliable, and quick.
