Allpart Supply (Allpart) once again teamed up with the Tire Industry Association (TIA) to offer advanced instructor training in Allpart’s state-of-the-art facility in Arlington, Texas.
Allpart welcomed back TIA and its industry leaders as part of TIA’s 2018 Training Tour, which covers Commercial Tire Service 400 (CTS-400) advanced training and certification for professionals responsible for training their respective tire and wheel service organizations.
Allpart has become a particularly popular location for tire industry and wheel service instruction because of its new on-site training facility, the Allpart Supply Wheel Service and Automotive Lift Training Center.
An official TIA training facility christened in 1Q 2017 (see Tire Review and Tire Business) the Allpart Training Center has garnered much attention in the automotive industry.
After Allpart’s wheel service and automotive lift experts opened the Training Center at their Arlington, Texas headquarters last year by hosting part of the Tire Industry Association’s (TIA’s) Certified ATS Advanced Instructor Training Tour, they followed by hosting a class in Commercial Tire Service Level 400 Instructor Training and Certification in December of the same year. Today Allpart continues to supply a premier learning environment and facility created with training in mind.
Indeed, the Allpart Training Center is a designated stop on not only the TIA 2018 Training Tour currently, but next year’s 2019 TIA ATS Training Tour, as well. The current CTS-400 class is an advanced class specifically tailored for training the trainers in Medium Duty and Heavy Duty Wheel Service environments. The class is structured such that it includes both classroom time and hands-on instruction in Allpart’s on-site training center. The Allpart Training Center is equipped with two automotive lifts and Haweka’s HD alignment and wheel balancing solutions, including the Axis4000 HD Alignment System, Pro Max centering kits, and an Airgo Lift.

The CTS-400 Training and Certification, which takes place over four days, consists of 18 modules, among them OSHA Regulations, Demountable Rim Service, Balance and Run-Out, and Repair. The modules are detailed, addressing issues like workplace safety,application-specific information and regulation, roadside service procedures,hub-pilot and stud-pilot wheel removal, demounting and mounting tubeless tires, single piece assemblies, and minimizing ride disturbances. The training culminates in a test; once students pass it they receive TIA CTS-400 Certification and may train other technicians.
The Tire Industry Association has returned to Allpart’s facility repeatedly to hold classes. Jon Barganier, VP—Allpart Supply, explains the attraction, “We work to make the Training Center comfortable for our instructors and attendees. We knew TIA would need a state-of the-art tire and wheel service center, and we wanted to provide them a premier training facility. Whether instructors need space to train on passenger car, medium duty, or heavy duty vehicles, we want them to be comfortable here. We are thrilled that TIA is making good use of our place for multiple purposes.”
The Allpart Training Center is open to other organizations beyond TIA. Its central location within the United States and Dallas/Fort Worth and its easy access from freeway and two major airports make it convenient to reach and use.
Together Allpart Supply and TIA are committed to educating the wheel balancing and tire service communities so that vehicles run as intended and America’s roads are secure.
