Inground Lifts
Problems:
- Auto lift “chatters” or is noisy when lowering
- Auto lift will not lower completely to floor height
- Auto lift does not stay in place at height
- Auto lift “jumps” while raising or lowering
Causes:
- Bearing wear causes piston “wobble”.
- Foreign object in equalizer box
- Equalizer frame is distorted
- Leak in air valve
- Low oil levels
Solutions:
- Replace bearing/seal assembly
- Clean debris from equalization box
- Repair or replace equalization frame assembly
- Check reservoir for proper oil level and fluid
- Replace air and oil valves
